Do you know which butterflies are found in your area?  That's step one in creating a butterfly garden. 
Plant it and they will come, but only if your plant those that attracts butterflies in the neighborhood.

I am so excited about creating a butterfly garden here.  Did you know that Texas has more species and subspecies of butterflies than any other state?  Isn't that marvelous!  I have lots of plants from which to pick.  I'll have a longer growing season and more butterflies.   Can't wait.
