Plants I am consider for my Lubbock Garden
These are reported to grow well here

Lubbock is in Hardiness Zone 7.   Research show that the average coldest winter temperature should be between 0° F and 10° F.   Zone 7 stretches across the middle of the United States.  I have read that most areas in zone 7 get moderate to high rainfall.  Lubbock have been a drought for several months.   The last day of significant rainfall was Oct. 21, 2010.
