I constructed a U-shaped trellis in the area South of the raised beds.  Put 4 metal fence posts and secured plastic coated clothes line on three sides to form a "U."  Also bought plastic clips to hold the vines against the line.

The Red Flame Seedless Grape Vine ripens in late July, and is a very popular bunch grape in the United States. It is well known for its very crisp flavor. The Red Flame seedless grape is firm, forms large clusters and is flavorful for use as a table grape or salads, and the Seedless Grape has colors ranging from flame red to dark purple.

Red Flame prefers plenty of heat during ripening period. This red grape is the one most often found in grocery stores. Ripens just a few days a head of Concord. Zones 7-10.

A cross between the Tokay (a seeded grape) and a round seedless, Red Flames are firm and sweet, with a very good crisp texture.

The Blueberry grape produces medium sized seedless grapes that are purplish blue in color. The fruit has a very sweet flavor with a strong flavor hinting of blueberries. This bunch grape variety is very productive and dries well for raisins.

In the Fall, the leaves produces attractive color of reds, oranges and yellows. Fruit ripens in August til mid September. Zones 7-10.

The Himrod grapevine is one of the hardiest and best quality of the white grapes. It is a cross between Ontario and Thompson seedless grapevines. The fruit is superb with very sweet honeylike flavor and a melting juicy texture. Berries are large with long, loose clusters. Fruit is also very crisp. This is an excellent grapevine for your home arbor.

This variety is very cold hard down to -15. Ripens about 5 weeks before Concord. Zones 5-8.

This well known green seedless grape is one of the most popular table grapes. It is also the grape most used for raisins. The fruit is most delicious when allowed to fully ripen and turn more golden than green. Thompson produces large and well-filled clusters. Grows well in hot climates. Good for all uses. Ripens one week before Concord. Zones 5-8.
The Black Monukka is a medium sized black seedless table grape with tender skin and an excellent crisp, sweet flavor. One of the hardiest European varieties to 10*F. Good fresh or for raisins. Cane or spur pruning. Ripens August into September.
